The dell repair company that I use is getting better every day. I think that they used to have a turnaround time on repairs of about four to five days and now they are at two to three days. I sent them some poweredge servers that I bought from a second hand store and they had them repaired, and back to me within twenty four hours.

I read some of their testimonials also that pretty much said the same thing. Their approval rating on dell repair is something like ninety nine percent good. I would love to have that kind of approval rating at my store. I think I have too many young employees and that hurts my chances a lot.

The main reason for me buying the used poweredge servers is because a couple of my young guys were messing around in the stock room where the servers are, and knocked one off of the rack. I have had problems with that particular server since then. I had a local dell repair company look at it and they said that it was probably going to go completely out within just a matter of time. I bought the used ones since there is no way that I can afford to purchase any new ones at this time.

When I heard that a used sun hardware store was going to be coming to town after the first of the year, I knew what kind of computer products I would be putting into my store. I had been mulling over the idea of using dell but not think that sun will be a good choice.

If I need to have anything repaired, then having a used sun equipment store will be vital to the time it takes to fix anything computer wise. I know that the local computer techs will start pushing for everyone else to install sun products, since it will cut down on the ordering of parts for servers, routers and other computer equipment.

I called in my order to the computer company today for everything that I needed to get the store up and running. The initial cost was very high, but knowing that if anything goes wrong and I have a store here to back me and my computer guy up is priceless.

If I time the opening of the store with the opening of the used sun equipment store then I know that from that day on, I am covered if something would go wrong.

The Used Dell Servers Were A Bargain

The used dell servers that were in the window of the computer shop are now in the back of my van. I stopped to see how much they were priced at and was shocked to see that they were in really good shape and they only wanted seven hundred dollars apiece for them. I had purchased some dell servers that were brand new just like this, and paid well over two grand apiece for them. I know that these will be compatible with my servers I have now and with the extra employees that I am hiring after the first of the year, I will need them.

I am going to have to break the news to my partner that I just spent fourteen hundred dollars from our joint account but as soon as he sees the dell servers and how nice they are, he will be fine with it. Our business has been going very well, which is the reason why we will be hiring more people soon. We usually do not spend that amount of money without first discussing it with each other first, but the deal was so good, that I did not want to miss out on it.

My Sister Has A Used IBM

When my sister told me that she had bought a used ibm computer at a garage sale, and it worked great, I laughed. I did not even know that ibm was still around, so this used ibm had to be like ten or twenty years old. I asked her how much she had paid for it and she said that she had gotten the used ibm and two used iseries servers for one hundred dollars.

I figured that she was a big girl and could throw away her money if she wanted to. I started getting lots of emails from her, since she finally had her used ibm to email me with. I told her to send me pictures of her garage sale finds. I figured that they would look like dinosaurs but the used ibm actually looked very good. He did too; he got her a great profit on the two servers. She of course was not interested in selling her new used computer.
